If I delivered the burgers to Mom and made for the restroom, then grabbed a gift bag and passed through the breezeway gate around the garage to the alley…freedom.

Learning today that Angie and Miller had been over—really over—for at least the past several months was freeing.
She needed her creature comforts. And so did I. But I suspect that must have irked a free spirit like David who craved his freedom and the Mediterranean sun.
Deep down he was afraid the old DNA samples somehow wouldn’t match and would set free the man he knew killed his sister Eva.
“Land of the free and the home of the brave,” I sang along with my teammates and the energized hockey crowd.
Now I was ready to kick some ass.
