As cliché as it sounds: Gosh, how fast this year flew by. It’s hard to believe 2022 is almost over.
Lots of good things have happened. Lots of sad things have happened. As in any year.
I hope you feel good about more things in your life than not. And I hope the things you’re not happy with, you feel like you can do something about. It’s all about choices for the most part.
Of course, there are some things we can’t control. I’m recovering from a dreadful sinus infection. First time in years I’ve been sick. Certainly made me step back and put off a bunch of things I thought were important. Well, book 11 is important, and my intention was to begin it before the end of 2022. That’s not happening. Just not enough energy to get it going.

And we have a new puppy in our home. Only on a temporary basis while one of our daughters and her family travel to visit friends in Pittsburg. Hazel is staying with us much to Charley’s chagrin. They have a tentative detente. But it takes a lot of attention to keep the peace. So the book has to wait until I’m well and Hazel goes back home. She’s a sweetie. We love having her. Charley not so much.

I haven’t set goals for 2023 yet, but I will. May discuss those in the January post.

Our travel plans changed and I believe for the better. Two snow storms dumped a ton of white stuff. And Handsome pulled his back. I’m glad. Getting lots done. Get well! and Happy New Year!

Hi Marsha, hope you are feeling better soon. We had a full house for Christmas. Our plans changed.because of the bad weather. With the snow storm coming, we had family members visit several days early. They all stayed for eight days before they could drive back home. Thank goodness we had the room. It was a noisy, happy, holiday. 🙂 Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, Marsha!! We had plans to go out to an Italian restaurant that’s been around for 70+ years. Bill has cataract surgeries in January, the first a few days after New Year’s, so we have decided to get take out and stay in and not chance Covid. We are having a New Year’s Day birthday dinner here for our oldest son, so we will be with our family celebrating.

Hey, Susan. Probably wise to not take chances with the cataract surgery in the offing. I know you’re really enjoying being so close to your sons and their families. Thanks so much for stopping by. Happy New Year.
